I promise you an hour of fun loving Yoga that will leave you in a relaxed state of joy!

Teaching Yoga has given me the perfect opportunity to share my personal connection with happiness, and what better way to do it than simply being what I am… Latin. That is the essential meaning behind LATIN2YOGA: embracing my Latin being and teaching from the heart, bringing all the positive emotions of my soul and infusing them into a very traditional Yoga practice.

In my yoga classes I incorporate and mix Latin and ethnic rhythms that run the gamut from the very roots of Yoga to the most contemporary and refined musical expression emanating from both the Latin and Hindu cultures. It is not Latin dance inspired by Yoga, but rather absolute Yoga infused with a spirit of happiness and joy.

LATIN2YOGA offers different Yoga styles (Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin) for both beginners and advanced students. Asanas (postures) are accompanied by joyful music and complemented by purifying Pranayama (breathing techniques) and deep relaxation.

“One of Yoga’s main purposes is to reach a state of bliss that will then lead us to liberation.

I would cherish the opportunity to help guide you to this state through a practice full of joy”.

“I see Yoga as a lifestyle a very ancient practice that allows us to live a much better life in harmony with the Universe and that teaches us how to take care of our whole being.

Yoga is so much more than the strictly physical discipline that is often practiced in the Western world. It is a Sanskrit word derived from the root “yuj”, meaning Union or Control. This union not only brings together Body, Mind and Spirit, but also melds the individual consciousness with the universal consciousness. Yoga, a traditional physical and mental discipline that originated in India, leads us to the constant experience of the Self using various poses (Asanas), hand gestures (Mudras), breathing techniques (Pranayama) and meditation to achieve physical and mental well-being.
